Monument to Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian classical writer and poet. For Ukrainians he is like Shakespeare in English speaking world. On the back - district administration building.

Old houses from pre war period.

Memorial plaque to father Kovch (Kowcz) in the center of the town. Ukrainian Greek Catholic priest murdered by Nazis during Second World War.

New Ukrainian church was built near the stadium in Peremyshlyany. It is going to be opened soon. Constructions, as you see, are still going on. Quite impressive structure. Isn't it?

Two colonade old house along Halytska street.

One of the old private villas, a walk from the center of the town along the small street. It definately dates from the Austrian (1772 - 1918) or Polish period (1923 - 1939).

Monument to Bohdan Khmelnytskyy (Chmielnicki / Khmelnytsky). Hero for Ukrainians. Leader of cossack and peasent anti-Polish uprising in Ukraine in 17th century. Controversial personality for many: "Traitor" for Poles, "Hitler" for Jews, "Bandit" for Russians. Houses along Halytska (Galician) street. Monument was set up quite recently, some years ago in park in the center of the town.
