My name is Aaron Korenewsky, and I am an American now living in Budapest, Hungary. I received my BA in Russian and Eastern European Studies and Political Science from Tufts University in May 2011. I am currently enrolled and expected to graduate from the one-year MA in Nationalism Studies program at Central European University (CEU) in June 2015. My research has been focused primarily on the Great Patriotic War narrative taking shape in the Russian Federation and Belarus since the 2000s. I will continue my studies at CEU next September in the one-year program offered through the Department of Public Policy (DPP).  I aim to focus my research on issues of European security, particularly NATO integration, as well as on issues related to Russian minorities living in the Baltic States.
