I am a
representative of the generation of people who were born in the USSR but were
raised in a newly independent country. Most of my school essays started with
the phrase “after the collapse of the Soviet Union”. So in continuation of this
tradition, after the collapse of the Soviet Union we continued to have some
Russian TV channels broadcasting in my country. Sometimes they showed movies
produced during the existence of the Soviet Union. This web-page contains the list
and description of my favorite Soviet movies and cartoons together with the famous quotes from them.
