Nanotechnology Dialogue Report Released
Securing the Promise of Nanotechnology: Is U.S. Environmental Law Up To the Job? summarizes the output of a multi-stakeholder dialogue hosted earlier this year by ELI and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The Dialogue examined how US laws and regulations, as well as voluntary programs and industry standards, can be used effectively to address the environmental, health, and safety implications of nanotechnologies. First “Endangered Environmental Laws” Writing Competition Opens
ELI’s first “Endangered Environmental Laws” student writing competition encourages law students to explore issues at the intersection of constitutional and environmental law, as a means to reinforce and defend environmental protection at the federal and state levels. First prize is a $2,000 and an offer of publication in the Environmental Law Reporter.
