Demo Article

The teaser is essentially the first paragraph of your article. It is used to grab the reader's attention, and make them want to read on. The teaser is often listed next to the article name on index pages, and appears at the top of the article page.

This is where you write your actual article.

You can include links and photos using the CityDesk Article toolbar. You can also make text bold, italic or underlined (although underlined isn't a good idea - the text might be mistaken for a hyperlink). There are also toolbar icons to center, left-justify or right-justify your text, indent it, and change its colour.

Use Headings!

There are a couple of things CityDesk doesn't yet offer (although it's tipped they will be included in a future version!) - headings and tables. If you want these in your article, you'll need to switch to the HTML View and code them yourself. But it's not that hard.

Heading 1

Heading 2

Heading 3

Heading 4

Heading 5
Heading 6

Other than that, everything works pretty much like a word processor. Have fun!

You can include a bit of information about the author of the article here. Or you can leave it blank.
