I organize frequently workshops to stimulate students' interest for research. In 2009 I launched a Departmental Seminar at the Central European University.

ACHIEVEMENTS RELATED TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
I have contributed to the implementation and US accreditation of the Ph.D. Program in Mathematics and its Applications of the Central European University, Budapest.
I have prepared the proposal for launching a two year Master of Science (M.S.) Program in Applied Mathematics at the Central European University, Budapest, starting academic year 2008-2009. The program has already been registered by the New York State Education Department.

International recognition and diffusion
            I am frequently invited to give talks and lectures on my own results. I myself organize or co-organize from time to time conferences or workshops, such as, for example:
            I have visited many institutions for research purposes, such as: University of Rousse, Bulgaria (2010), Technical University, München, Germany (2002), University of Stuttgart, Germany (1997 (DAAD Fellowship), 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002), University of Jyväskylä, Finland (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999), International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy (1984, and 1985), Ohio University, Athens, Ohio (1988 and 2000), and many others.
            I have cooperated with many (over 30) researchers on various topics within my areas of interest or neighbouring areas and disciplines, including biology, chemistry, economics, engineering, mechanics, physics.
